Stephanie Weiler

Meet Stephanie, the owner of Hamont Yoga. Stephanie found her Yoga practice on Ottawa Street North, back in February 2015. Inspired by the way yoga made her feel, she enrolled in a 200-hour teacher training at Anjeli Teacher Training with Diana Lockett and Daniel Horgan. Stephanie’s continued education includes a 20 Hour Barre training with Morgan Cowie of Mosaic Yoga, a 20 Hour Meditation and a 50 Hour Asana & Anatomy training with In Fine Feather Yoga,

and her most recent credential, level 1 and 2 Performance Stretch Therapy.

(Assisted Stretch appointments available in-studio)

Stephanie teaches from the heart, offering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

She invites her students to listen to their inner guide, moving in ways that feel good in their body.

When not at the studio, you can find her walking her dog August, drinking lots of coffee, or exploring the street and connecting with the Ottawa Street North community.

Michelle Smith

Michelle found Yoga during her university years and quickly found herself continuing to return to her mat after noticing a sense of focus, steadiness and ease in her busy schedule. The four corners of her mat have remained the space where she can slow down and reconnect with herself.

Looking to strengthen her personal practice, Michelle enrolled in 200-hour teacher training at Anjeli Teacher Training Academy with Diana Lockett and Daniel Horgan in 2017. She quickly felt the call to share her passion for the healing properties of yoga and thoughtful movement with others. A life-long student, Michelle has continued her training with a 50-hour Asana & Anatomy Training with In Fine Feather Yoga, 25-hour Breath Coach training with the Whole Health Project and 100-Hr Meditation Teacher Training with Hoame.

Michelle’s teaching offers an alignment based and heart-centred class that encourages exploration of the body and spirit. She holds space for students to bring awareness and agency to their physical, emotional, and energetic bodies. Students can expect to leave class feeling a little bit lighter, and feeling a greater sense of connection.

our Instructors

Andrea King

Andrea King initially studied yoga with Angeli Yoga teacher training for her 200 hour certificate and in 2018 went to San Francisco for 6 weeks to study with international teacher, Jason Crandell to complete her 500hour advanced training. She studied mindfulness and the mindfulness based stress reduction program. She invites fun, creativity and focus to her Yoga flows. She will breakdown a pose to its basics and her flows are planned to build you up and educate you on your body and the practice of Yoga. She loves to teach and invites a positive and joyful approach to Yoga, usually with a killer playlist. Oh and yes, it was probably a joke so its okay to laugh in class.

Jenn Ayotte

Shortly after moving into the Crown Point neighbourhood, Jenn found a local yoga studio and decided to go check it out with a friend. She instantly fell in love with the practice and community, and quickly found herself at the studio as often as she could find the time.

Looking to deepen her own personal practice she enrolled at In Fine Feather’s 200 Hour Teacher Training and fell in love with teaching others along the way.

Jenn teaches from her heart with the intention of giving her students a safe place to grow, let go and find confidence on their mat. She loves to start class off with an intention or theme that she carries out through each posture while providing guidance with alignment and breath..
